Synergy SOPHIE - Scored Assessment
Does anyone know if a SHOPIE can run a scored assessment that calculates a score based on answers given by a patient to a questionnaire.
e.g. Q1 - Do you have trouble sleeping? Yes = 1, No = 0 Q2 - Do you feel anxious sometimes? Yes = 1, No = 0 Q3 - Is it a financial strain? Yes = 1, No = 0 If a patient answers Yes to Q1 and Q3 and no to Q2, they score 2. I want that score calculating based on the answers to the questions and then read coding as a score. This is the sort scoring using by PHQ-9 Depression Severity or Caregiver Strain questionnaires. The only way I can think is to create local read codes for each question that accept numeric values, then enter either 1 or 0 as the answer then use a calc question to calculate the total score. I am not keen on this option because it forces the user to answer 1 or 0 instead of Yes or No. And it also creates lots of unnecessary local read codes which clutter the journal. I though maybe there was clever way of doing this in SOPHIES. Thanks Robert Caldeira |
