Swine Flu Payment Verification

Does anyone have a Miquest search available that practices can run to provide payment verification to the PCT when they have administered the swine flu vaccine. Or can anyone tell me how other PCTs are obtaining the information?
Thanks

You can use Swine Flu CHART library - it is available already.
We want to collect also info about batch no and exp date so probably will do it via IOS.

Hi,

We are basing payment for this on data entered into Immform. Emis LV and TPP are automatically uploading this data, for any others in our area we will use the chart queries.

The only problem will be Staff vaccinated as part of the NHS Staff vacc program by outside agency who are also in an at risk category. They will be coded by the practices as given by outside agency and therefore will not be identifyable via Immform. We will need to ask practices to notify us of them seperately.

We would have liked to use the ImmForm data on which to base payment but can't because PRIMIS have commented as below:

"Our library was commissioned by the Department of Health specifically for the ImmForm Vaccination uptake survey. The library does not pick up patients who have left the practice, died, temporarily registered or who have had the vaccination at another practice and subsequently transferred in. Therefore this will not be an accurate tool to use for payment.

ImmForm accept that for these reasons the uptake figures will not be 100% accurate but are accurate enough to gauge the level of uptake. This is different however when you involve payment as the figures need to be 100% accurate."

Unfortunately therefore, we are asking our practices to submit lists of identifiable data (I know!) which will comply with the exact requirements of the DES.

As far as I can see the end result of this is that we will spend about £15 on each patient in order to prevent a few £5.25's 'slipping through'. Madness ...

Surely these patients are not claimable for, or have I read your post wrong?
